NOTE

Sledgehammer Art was just a way of saying that I am hitting people over the head with a direct message. This was a little opportunity to play around with mixed media as well.

 

It was time, back in t1988 when RU-486 became legal in Canada and there was the usual political and religious objection to medically and pharmaceuticaly induced  abortions. People all around still telling us gals how to live our lives and when we thought we owned our reproductive rights and control over our own bodies and family destiny already.

I felt moved to do these little pieces.
